As promised, Here is the recipe for the Beer Bread. The recipe uses no yeast, hence the beer. You can whip this up in 5 minutes. The cook time is an hour and you can slice it while it is still warm.

3 c. sifted all purpose or bread flour 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1 Tbsp. Baking Powder 3 Tbsp. Sugar 1 12 oz can Beer (any type) 4 Tbsp melted butter

NOTE:  You can substitute a can of soda.  Most people who use soda use sprite or 7-up.  I would imagine this will make the bread sweeter.

Mix the dry ingredients together in a large bowl.  Slowly add beer and mix well.  Transfer into a greased loaf pan and pour 3 Tbsp of the melted butter on top.  Bake at 375 for 50 minutes.  Drizzle the remaining 1 Tbsp of melted butter on top and bake for another 10 minutes.  Enjoy!
